A Venture In Art

I'm back in my wood shop again and I have been taking my creative woodworking in a little different direction.  I have always used my creativity to build art pieces that were both ascetically pleasing and functional.
Over the last six months I have been experimenting with some "non-functional" art.
I have really been enjoying the creative freedom of not having to have a functional aspect to the art pieces. Continuing in my love to create things from Re-claimed materials I have been using old Doug Fir rafters from a 1950's home on 30th avenue in Santa Cruz, old growth Redwood from a 100 year old log cabin in the Santa Cruz mountains, as well as using variety of materials I have collected over the years.
